Planning the honeymoon is always fun, especially if it’s somewhere you’ve been dreaming of going. If you don’t already have a particular destination in mind, here’s a great list of some of the top spots for your newlywed getaway!
There’s so many choices when it comes to Hawaii, which is probably why it’s always a fan favorite. Whether it’s the big island, or one of the more private beaches, you can’t go wrong with the beaches, surfing, and tropical paradise.
If you’re a couple that loves hiking, ancient ruins, or just wants to experience it all, then Costa Rica is for you. Zip line through a tropical rainforest in the morning and relax on the beach in the afternoon. There are ruins to tour and nightlife to enjoy, and plenty of sights to see.
They don’t call it the “City of Love” for nothing. If you want romantic lights, cafe lunches with wine and pastries, and plenty of museums and shopping, then you’ll absolutely enjoy Paris. Check out must-see sights like the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre and then spend the evening on a Seine River dinner cruise. This city definitely doesn’t lack romance!
If you really want something tropical, you can’t beat this island. With crystal clear waters that come right up to your bungalow, and rainforests and waterfalls that will take your breath away, this honeymoon will have you never wanting to leave!
If mountain landscapes are your thing, then you can’t beat this view. Whether you go when everything blooms in spring, the colors change in fall, or the mountains are capped in snow in the winter, the view is absolutely incredible. Stay in a cozy mountain cabin and enjoy all the local Canadian towns.
Talk about a picture-perfect postcard. The colorful buildings that Santorini is known for are a site you can’t get enough of. Not to mention the cliffs and volcanoes that will leave you breathless and the local markets that will make you leave with more than you came with!
No matter where you head to celebrate your new love, make sure to take tons of pictures, and plan a lot of excursions and experiences. After all, you’re celebrating!!
