As Washington DC wedding planners specializing in multicultural weddings, corporate galas and social events, Mimi Ebichi Events is on a mission to celebrate love by creating culturally-honoring yet elegant experiences for every client at any kind of event. Our combined background in design, law, project management and customer service, guarantees that you receive authenticity, impeccable attention to detail, and a flawless execution of your special celebration.
Our core values of faith, family, community and cultural diversity set us apart, and have taken us from the shores of North America, to the Arabian deserts, the tropics of the Caribbean, and the greens of Africa, where we have been blessed to serve amazing clients. Having planned weddings and events with 25 – 3,000 guests and managed budgets of $50,000 – $49 million, we are no stranger to the complexities of the industry.
Our discerning clientele’s taste for elegance blends well with our company’s ethos to fuse cultures and worlds together, through white-glove service. So whether you desire the backdrop of the nation’s capital for your event, planning an intimate celebration in Europe, a lavish wedding in Dubai, a romantic affair in the Caribbean or corporate gala, we hope you choose us to “deliver luxury, your way.”
Hi, I’m Mimi! Your event architect, dream translator and executor of your special celebration. For over 10 years, I have immersed myself in helping clients celebrate LOVE “their way.” I’m often asked what separates me from others, and my answer is simple and firm:
I am Mindful, Intentional, Meticulous, and Intuitive (M.I.M.I).
Each event I create for my clients is a product of PURPOSE, PASSION & HARD WORK.
As a daughter born to Nigerian parents, pursuing a career as a lawyer, physician or other prominent field is the norm. I followed my mom’s footsteps to study law, then spent a great deal of my career in healthcare finance. But even though I pursued a corporate career, I never let my desire to embrace and celebrate love fade. I simply stepped into the shoes I knew I was created to fill and have never looked back.
